Bring the site details into the conversation
Start with the address, intended use, requested dates and an on-site contact. Describe the access route and the available standing area, including gates, surface conditions and any time restrictions.
Ask what is included in the arrangement, what you need to prepare and how changes will be handled. Availability, delivery and collection windows are confirmed for your location; a quote request is not a reservation.
Coordinate with the rest of the rental
If you also need portable toilets or handwashing, include those in the same request. Coordinate placement so one delivery does not block another supplier or an ongoing service visit.
Describe the waste before choosing the container
A cleanout, renovation and construction job can produce different materials and loading patterns. Tell the team what will go into the dumpster and whether the waste includes unusually heavy or bulky items. Ask which materials are excluded and how the permitted load will be confirmed for the container offered.
Leave space to load and collect it
Think about where people will load from, how any container door will open and whether parked vehicles will block collection. If the site is shared with restroom or storage rentals, show all proposed positions on one layout. Do not assume a container can be moved after it has been filled.
Questions worth asking before booking
Could I need more than one pickup?
Describe the project phases and expected volume. Ask about a collection-and-replacement arrangement if waste will continue after the first container is ready to leave.
