Bring the site details into the conversation
Start with the address, intended use, requested dates and an on-site contact. Describe the access route and the available standing area, including gates, surface conditions and any time restrictions.
Ask what is included in the arrangement, what you need to prepare and how changes will be handled. Availability, delivery and collection windows are confirmed for your location; a quote request is not a reservation.
Coordinate with the rest of the rental
If you also need portable toilets or handwashing, include those in the same request. Coordinate placement so one delivery does not block another supplier or an ongoing service visit.
Choose space around the doors, not only the container
Describe how supplies will be brought in and taken out during the rental. Door clearance, loading activity and vehicle movement need room as well as the container footprint. Explain whether other rental equipment or parked vehicles will share the area.
Match the rental to the storage task
Tell the team the approximate volume, the type of items and the length of storage required. Confirm the proposed container specification, access arrangements and any restrictions on contents. Ask what needs to be ready before delivery and before final collection.
Questions worth asking before booking
Can a container be relocated during the rental?
Discuss relocation in advance with the rental team. Do not assume a loaded container can be shifted as part of normal site work or that the initial delivery arrangement covers another move.
